Tata Steel quiz for students

BANGALORE: The Bangalore round of the Tata Steel Inter-School Quiz, held for students from standard VIII to XII, is being held at the Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park, on December 2 with quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam as the host.

As this is Tata Steel’s Centenary Year, the quiz is special as the three winners from centres will be invited to Jamshedpur for the grand finale on January 18.

For the Bangalore round, registration is at 9 a.m., preliminaries at 9.30 a.m., followed by the finals.

The quiz will cover a wide canvas such as Sports, History, Geography, Current Affairs, and Everyday Science and so on. A written round will be conducted and top six teams will qualify for the finals.

The top three teams from Bangalore will be invited to participate in the Jamshedpur finals. Each team should have two students from the same school. Schools can register by calling 41202438.
