Power supply from sub-station to begin today ‘Contact with cables could cause accidents’ KOCHI: The Kerala State Electricity Board has cautioned against the digging of roads where cables have been laid for supply of power. The power supply from the Gas Insulated Switch Gear Sub-station at Marine Drive will begin any time on Friday. The power will be supplied through cables laid from the sub-station to the following areas: Goshree bridges, the Eastern and northern sides of Banerji Road up to Lalan Towers and South-West of KTDC building to Hospital Road and up to Post Office Junction, said a communication issued by the Executive Engineer of the Electrical Division. Digging of the road or coming into contact with the cables could lead to accidents, the communication warned.
