Cyberabad police chief clarifies on Swapna’s case

HYDERABAD: Love affair could be the reason behind Swapna’s disappearance, Cyberabad Police Commissioner S. Prabhakar Reddy said on Thursday.

This is the first official statement from the police in the sensational disappearance case of 19-year-old Swapna from Banjaranagar in Erragadda amidst reports that she was not kidnapped a week ago as alleged by her parents.

The Commissioner, however, said the police were yet to trace her.
