CHENNAI: The all-India final of The Hindu Young World Quiz 2007 will be held at Kamaraj Arangam, Teynampet, here on Monday (December 3). The preliminary rounds will be held at 9.30 a.m.; the regional round at 11 a.m. and the final at 3.45 p.m. The prizes will be distributed at 5 p.m. Actor Prashanth will be the chief guest at the event. The title sponsor of the quiz is Amity University. Associate sponsors are Tara Talcum Powder and Lotte Booproo. The national sponsors are Cycle Brand Agarbathie, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Reynolds, Extramarks.com, Penguin Books, Malaysia Tourism, State Bank of Travancore and Vizag Steel Plant. The regional sponsors are Sabols, Nathella Sampathu Chetty, Currimbhoys, Supreme Nutrifud Cakes, Mahavir Optics, Smart Training Resources, Medimix – Ayurvedic Soap, Dukes Biscuit, Derkann Jeans and Adyar Ananda Bhavan. The hospitality sponsor is Savera Hotels. The official drink for the event is Dabur — Real Fruit Juice. Quizwalahs will be the event managers.
