To target new clients in the Benelux market 200-300 more people will be recruited CHENNAI: Cybernet- SlashSupport (CSS), a technology operations management (TOM) company, has entered into a strategic tie-up with Bergler ICT, a Netherlands-based IT solutions company, to provide infrastructure management services (IMS) to Bergler’s customers in Europe. Initially, the tie-up is for a three-year period. The tie-up will see CSS employ an additional 200-300 people to serve the opportunity arising out of the partnership with Bergler. CSS had, in 2006, signed a similar strategic partnership with NTT Com in the infrastructure management services space to target the customers of NTT Com in Japan. Under the present arrangement, the two will jointly target new clients in the Benelux market. To facilitate this, Bergler has established an ‘outsourcing’ vertical as part of its service offerings. Addressing a video conference, Shiva Ramani, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CSS, said going forward, CSS would work with “people who have market access” to expand its global footprint. “From a start-up, we have come a long way to become a multi-country operations company,” he said. CSS has around 5,000 employees working at its offshore facilities in Chennai and Coimbatore. According to Rob Wessels, Chief Executive Officer, Bergler ICT the outsourcing market in the Netherlands was worth $1.5 billion and the share of the Indian companies was around nine per cent.
