Two houses gutted in freak incident

BERHAMPUR: Two houses at Bagadapalli village near Digapahandi in Ganjam district were gutted in a freak incident on Thursday evening.

A crow flew away with a burning diya put in front of a house. Irritated by the heat it threw the diya down on the thatched roof of the house owned by Bijay Sahu. The house of Bharat Sahu adjoining it also caught fire.
