New BSNL mobile service

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) will introduce two services on Saturday — people finder and advertisement.

The first, a location-based service used to locate and communicate among friends, family and employees forming a group, will be initially available only for post-paid subscribers.

The subscribers should have personal computers and Internet connections.

The advertisement service, also location-based, is to SMS advertisements to subscribers within a geographical region.

The “advertisers” should have a BSNL post-paid connection.

The services will be provided on written request in the prescribed form. — Special Correspondent
