MADURAI: A Fast Track Court here on Friday awarded life sentence to six persons in a double murder case near Vadipatti. According to the prosecution, Mayandi, Manoharan, Mokkaraj, Paramasivan, Uthiraraj and Raman had killed Baskaran and Janakiraman in November 1994. Demanded moneyThe deceased had demanded money from them for not informing their illegal activity to the police. Fine imposedWhen the case came up for hearing, the FTC II Judge, M. Sekaran, sentenced them to life and imposed a fine of Rs.20,000.
