Special trains for Ambedkar’s ‘Punya Tithi’

HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway will run special trains between Adilabad and Mumbai for the ‘Punya Tithi’ of B.R. Ambedkar in the first week of December.
A press release said the Adilabad-Mumbai special will leave at 10 a.m. on December 4 and 5 and reach its destination at 4.35 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, it will leave Mumbai at 11.45 p.m. on December 6 and 7 and reach Adilabad at 7.45 p.m. the next day.
To clear rush
To clear the rush of passengers, 36 weekly winter specials between Nizamabad and Visakhapatnam will be pressed into service up to March 26, 2008.
