Additions to voters’ list in Karur

KULITHALAI: Eligible persons from Karur district could get their names entered in electoral rolls by applying in the prescribed Form 6, according to Collector T.N. Venkatesh.

Addressing students of Kalaignar Government Arts College here on Thursday, the Collector said that eligible applicants could get their names appended in the electoral rolls before December 8.

Youths should come forward to enroll themselves and participate in the electoral practice, he exhorted students. Relevant forms would be made available at the respective RDO, Taluk offices and polling stations in the district and people could make use of the facilities to enter their names in the rolls, he added.

Mr. Venkatesh personally received applications from the students of the College and directed the officials to classify them according to the constituency.
