Sangameshwar to contest from Congress

Special Correspondent

BHADRAVATI: The former MLA from Bhadravati, B.K. Sangameshwar, has thanked the people of Bhadravati Assembly Constituency for having provided him an opportunity to serve them as their representative in the Assembly.

In a press release here, Mr. Sangameshwar said that he would contest as a Congress candidate in the coming election.

He said, “I had the dreams of transforming the industrial city of Bhadravati into a dreamland”.

“I have the satisfaction of having fulfilled most of them within the available time,” he added.

The constituency could have witnessed many more development programmes, had the term of the Assembly not been curtailed owing to the “greed for power” of Janata Dal (Sercular) and Bharatiya Janata Party leaders.

Mr. Sangameshwar had contested in the last election as an independent candidate and later joined Congress as an associate member.
