Seven armed reserve head constables have been promoted as Sub-Inspectors, 12 constables as head constables, 18 civil constables as head constables and seven assistant sub-inspectors as sub-inspectors as part of the administration policy to promote efficiency and hard work by infusing confidence in the staff of the city police commissionerate.

The vacant posts in various police stations have also been filled up by means of postings.
