Port sets record

The Visakhapatnam port set a record by discharging 31,746 tonnes of iron ore (fines) on November 25 from vessel m.v. Govind Prasad surpassing the earlier record of 16,798 tonnes from m.v. Jag Vidya on May 1, 2005. Essar Steel Limited had imported the cargo.
