HYDERABAD: The Arch Show -2007 bringing together the latest, emerging technologies and materials related to construction industry, was inaugurated at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road here on Friday. Organised by the Indian Institute of Architects, Andhra Pradesh Chapter, for the third consecutive year, Arch Show-07 aims to generate awareness about latest developments and products from floor tiles, roofing material, hardware, sanitaryware, interiors, lighting, and other accessories under one roof, according Chairman of IIA, AP Chapter D.T.Vinod Kumar and Secretary, Ramchander. Three-day eventThe three-day event inaugurated by SMR Group Chairman S.Rami Reddy, has participants showcasing best of Indian and international building construction materials and tools. At a time when new materials, improvements related to various aspects of building industry keep entering the market, rather than isolated campaigns, a show under one roof would cater to requirements of different category of visitors- consumers, architects and architecture students and enable them keep abreast of the changes to help them go for better products, said Mr.Ramachander. A variety of floor tiles, ceramic to the latest vitrified tiles, kitchen tiles, plywood interiors, furniture, laminations, kitchen equipment, acoustic system, security systems, electrical wiring, lighting and switches from conventional to new generation products from Anchor, eco-friendly paints from Nippon, metal balustrades and handrail systems, interiors in sturdy plywood from Vishwakarma Industries, high strength shock and weather-resistant ceramic tile and stone installation system from Laticrete, variety of metal doors, garden canopy, chairs, lights, were on display. Wide choicesSuch exhibitions would help the customers and all those related to building and construction industry make informed decisions as the choice of materials, interiors and accessories these days is mindboggling, said Mr.Ramachander. The exhibition open from 10.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. would conclude on December 2.
