‘Furnish bank account details’

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has asked Rehmana Yusuf Farooqui, wife of Pakistan national Asfaq, to furnish the details of her bank account.

A Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice B.N. Chaturvedi and Justice G.S. Sistani issued the direction on a petition by Rehmana for de-freezing her account.

Rehmana was an accused in the Red Fort terrorist attack case in which three Army personnel were killed on December 22, 2000. The High Court acquitted her while it sentenced Asfaq to death in the case in September this year.

The Bench directed her to also furnish a copy of her passbook and bank statement.
