Banks told to achieve 100 pc coverage

KORAPUT: P. K. Jena, AGM, Rural Planning& Credit Department(RPCD) of RBI , Bhubaneswar reviewed the progress made by banks of Ryagada district on Saturday.

Appreciating the success of Utkal Gramya Bank in the district in successfully opening 30620 SB accounts under “no frills account” in its 20 branches , he asked the officials to achieve 100 per cent coverage in the district by opening the zero balance accounts for every single individual irrespective of their financial status. S.N.Mishra , GM and J.K.Mishra , Area Manager of Utkal Gramya Bank were present.
