Locally manufactured liquor seized

Chittoor: Excise and Prohibition Department personnel raided KG Satram village in Bangarupalem mandal on Saturday morning and seized locally manufactured liquor concealed in a heap of hey. The cost of the liquor seized has been placed at Rs. 4 lakh. A person allegedly responsible for the offence, Sriramulu, is at large. Sudhir Babu, taluk Circle Inspector of the department, said that a case has been registered. –Staff Reporter
