Action-packed days in Mahe

A break from routine: Water sport events on at the adventure sports carnival in Mahe on Saturday.

MAHE: The two-day adventure sports carnival began here on Saturday under the aegis of the Tourism Department of Puducherry in collaboration with the National Adventure Foundation (Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Chapter).

Puducherry Health Minister E. Valsaraj inaugurated the carnival. Puducherry Deputy Speaker A.V. Sreedharan presided. The inaugural function was followed by various water sport events at the Water Sports Complex here. Adventure sports events including zorbing, paramotor flying, hot air ballooning, short parasail launching would be held during the carnival, the organisers said.
