Two get life-term for murder

Krishnagiri: The Krishnagiri Principal District Sessions Court on Friday awarded life imprisonment and 10 years Rigorous Imprisonment to two persons for killing a person following a property dispute on October 9, 1992. The sentences would run concurrently. The prosecution case was that Venkatesan (36) and his brother Devendran (34) of Uthanapalli hacked to death Narayanadass (67) of Uthanapalli. The judge, Kumaraguru, slapped a fine of Rs. 5,000 each too on them.
