Collector inspects ongoing works

Krishnagiri: Collector Santhosh Babu on Saturday inspected the progress of development works being executed under the Anaithu Gramam Anna Marumalarchi Thittam at Veppanapalli union.
The Collector inspected the construction of group houses in Samandhamalai at Rs. 3.70 lakh.
He reviewed the creation of a percolation pond at Naduvanapalli and Jinganur at Rs. 3 lakh.
Mr. Babu inspected the ongoing construction of a playground at Chinnamanavaranaplli and creation of a burial ground at Rahim Nagar at Rs.2 lakh.
He directed officials concerned to ensure quality in all the works. The Collector inspected the desiltation of irrigation tank at Somanathapuram, construction of noon-meal centre and rural library in Kurupurapalli at Rs.2.5 lakh.
The Collector instructed officials to display details about the nature of work, project cost and date of completion in a notice board in the concerned villages. He instructed officials to expedite the development works on time.
