Staff Reporter
TIRUPATTUR: Sri Nandhanam College of Engineering and Technology, Tirupattur, has proposed to conduct a three-week computer training programme for 25 women.
E. Vidyasagaran, Senior Scientist, Research and Development Cell of the college, said the management would soon meet the Tirupattur Sub-Division Sub Collector, Ashish Kumar, to brief him about the programme.
Women who had studied up to Standard VIII and above and were within 26 to 40 years of age would be eligible to join the programme. They would be trained in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point. The management would arrange for a vehicle to transport the participants from Tirupattur to the college campus, Mr. Vidyasagaran said.
