Muzaffarnagar: In a case of mob barbarity, a village head was stoned to death by an angry wedding party when he accidentally injured the bride’s brother. The victim Shokat Rana (45) injured the bride’s brother Hasan when he fired a gun shot in the air during celebration on Friday. Following the incident, the angry relatives of the bride stoned Rana to death. A case has been registered and seven people have been arrested in this connection, police said. Injured Hasan has been admitted to hospital, they added.
