MALAPPURAM: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy has said there is no two opinion in the Congress about the re-entry of veteran leader K. Karunakaran into the party. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) will take an appropriate decision about Mr. Karunakaran’s re-entry, he said. Mr. Chandy was talking to reporters at the State Haj camp at Karipur near Kondotty on Saturday. He visited the Haj House and held discussions with the Haj officials there. Mr. Chandy said he had no personal comments about the proposed re-admission of Mr. Karunakaran into the Congress fold. He said the United Democratic Front (UDF) had taken Air India’s lapses at Karipur seriously. The UDF would complain to Air India chairman about the airline’s negligence of Karipur, he said.
