BSES holds seventh interactive session with public

Staff Reporter

Will provide spot resolution of queries and grievances

NEW DELHI: Power distribution company BSES organised its seventh interactive session, “Aapke Dwar”, with residents of Dilshad Garden here on Saturday.

The session allows on-the-spot resolution of grievances. A team of BSES officials led by the Chief Executive Officer of the company interacts with the residents’ welfare association representatives and members.

According to a BSES official, more than 2,000 residents have participated in the six “Aapke Dwar” sessions held at Mayur Vihar, Shankar Road, Patel Nagar, New Friends Colony (East Delhi), Chandni Chowk and Darya Ganj.

Overwhelming response

“After an overwhelming response to the six interactive sessions, BYPL has organised the seventh such meeting for the residents of Dilshad Garden in East Delhi. The programme was attended by MLAs Narender Nath, Veer Singh Dhingan, RWA representatives and senior BSES officials,” the spokesperson said.

Separate counters

“For easy resolution of complaints for the residents, BYPL had set up separate counters -- each addressing and catering to a different category. There were stalls for billing issues, streetlights, new connections, load enhancement and each manned by an empowered team of officials,” he added.

The interactive session, the spokesperson said, helps the senior management get a first-hand feedback from consumers, encourages customers to give suggestions, provides on-the-spot resolution of queries and grievances, shares the company’s initiatives, plans and constraints, and educates customers about the menace of power theft and solicits their support in theft reduction and energy conservation.
