Symposium on probiotics held

NEW DELHI: A symposium on probiotics highlighting its role in intestinal milieu and disease management was held here over the weekend.

Organised by the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases and the Indian Council of Medical Research, the seminar was attended by several experts to discuss the role of probiotics in combating intestinal and lifestyle diseases and immune disorders which are on the rise in India.
