Azharia FC posts win

MANGALORE: Azharia FC (Mangalore) defeated Jenifa FC (Ullal) 1-0 in an ‘A’ division football league match at the Nehru Maidan here on Saturday.

Maqdoom scored the match-winner in the 30th minute of the first-half.

In another ‘A’ division tie on Friday, Mangalore Sporting FC (Mangalore) defeated St. Aloysius College (Mangalore) 1-0, courtesy a strike by Santhosh in the 26th minute of second-half.

Earlier result: ‘A’ division: Bolar Brothers 1 (Pranam) bt Kasba Brothers 0.
