New Dean

Manipal: P. Sripathi Rao took charge as the Dean of the Kasturba Medical College (KMC) here on Saturday. Dr. Rao has served as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics, KMC, Manipal, from 1996 to 2001, and Associate Dean from 2001-04. He was the Medical Superintendent and Chief Operating Officer of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, from 2004 to 2006. He served as Additional Dean of KMC during 2006-07. He is also the president of Indian Arthroscopy Society, the release added. — Staff Correspondent
