SFI activists stage protest

The Students Federation of India (SFI) staged a demonstration near the Ambedkar statue here on Saturday in protest against Friday’s police lathicharge on its activists who were seeking better amenities in welfare hostels, scholarships and other facilities.

Activists of SFI tied their mouths with piece of cloth as a protest against the government’s attempt to suppress their agitation by force.
