Two arrested for land grabbing

Thousand Lights Central Crime Branch police have arrested two persons for preparing false documents for a property worth Rs. 1 crore and selling it for Rs. 50 lakh.

Police said S. Manivannan of T. Nagar had made a complaint on behalf of Rajeswari Natarajan, owner of a property in Ambattur. Seven persons had posed as owners of the land and prepared fake documents for the property stating that it had been sold in 1998.
