Police officers shuffled
CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Government on Saturday posted an Additional Director-General of Police (ADGP) as the head of the intelligence wing in the State.
R. Sekar, hitherto ADGP, Prison, Chennai, has been transferred to the intelligence unit and A. Subramanian, who was the ADGP, Crime Branch CID, will be the new ADGP, Prison, in the latest shuffle of senior police officers.
Letika Saran, who was heading the Administration wing, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, CB CID. Bholanath, ADGP and Director of Fire and Rescue Services, has been posted as ADGP, Headquarters, and K.R. Shyam Sundar, ADGP and head of the State Traffic Planning Cell, will succeed Mr. Bholanath in the Fire and Rescue Services. — Special Correspondent
