‘Walk for Autism’

Bangalore: For parents and caregivers of children with autism and other developmental disabilities, it is a constant struggle to deal with the needs of the child.

A walkathon, “Walk for Autism,” organised here on Sunday by the Information and Resource Centre for Autism and other Developmental Disabilities, sought to create awareness among people about autism and the need to bring children with special needs into the mainstream.

The walkathon started from Lalbagh West Gate and ended at the information centre premises.
