PMK stages demonstration

VILLUPURAM: Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S. Ramadoss led a demonstration in front of the Ginjee Government Hospital on Sunday decrying the deplorable conditions in government hospitals and Primary Health Centres.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramadoss said patients were put to great hardship for the want of doctors. The government hospitals elsewhere in the State too were facing shortage of doctors and facilities and no steps had been taken to address the issue, he said.

Party president G.K. Mani, K. Dhanraj, MP, Senthamil Selvan and V.A.T. Kalivaradhan, MLAs, participated.
