Davanagere
Davangere: The house of bank manager Mohan Kumar was burgled in Siddaveerappa extension here on Saturday. According to the police, the burglars who entered the house by breaking the door, ransacked it, but could not find any valuables. They later took away his cellular phone and the “mangalasutra” of his wife. Surprisingly, both of them were fast asleep when the incident occurred. The police were examining whether the burglars had drugged the couple and had later searched for valuables. A case has been registered.
