K.J. Thomas re-elected district secretary

KADUTHURUTHY (Kottayam district): The three-day district conference of the CPI(M) concluded here on Sunday re-electing K.J. Thomas as secretary for the second consecutive term.

The conference also elected a 35-member district committee which included six new faces and a 24-member contingent for the State conference scheduled here in February. The new members are P.V. Sunil, Joy George, E.M. Kunjumohammed, Regi Zacharia, K.S. Krishnankutty Nair and M.S. Sanu.

The following are the delegates for the State conference: M.T. Joseph, P.N. Prabhakaran, K. Suresh Kurup, P.K. Harikumar, V.N. Vasavan, P.J. Samuel, K.P. Sugunan, C.J. Joseph, Lalichan George, A.V. Russal, K.N. Ravi, T.R. Raghunathan, V.N. Sasidharan, V.P. Abraham, C.A. Sukumaran, Kanam Ramakrishnan Niar, P.K. Biju, K.M. Radhakrishnan, M.K. Prabhakaran, M.P. Ashokan, Krishnakumari Rajasekharan, Rema Mohanan, K.K. Ganeshan and K. Jayakrishnan.
