NGO to provide health services to tribals

Rampachodavaram: General and Environmental Education for Tribal Health Action (Geetha), a new charitable organisation, has come forward to extend charitable health services to tribals in Rampachodavaram, Maredumilli, Devipatnam, Y. Ramavaram, Addateegala, Gangavaram and Rajavommangi mandals.
Its president P.R.K. Rao said on Sunday that they would take up national health programmes in tribal areas in the name of Geetha Tribal Health Care Project under the leadership of their project director K. Steevension. Mr. Rao said that they would take up programmes not only in East Godavari but also in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts. He said they would run tribal health centres in the above mandals.
