Kerala to focus on free open source software

HYDERABAD: The Kerala government is laying emphasis on free open source software (FOSS) and proposes to establish an international development centre in the State, according to Sourabh Jain, Director Kerala IT Mission. Addressing a workshop on ‘e-Governed States: The road ahead’ here on Saturday, Mr. Jain said that the Government process re-engineering would accompany all e-Governance initiatives in the State.
