Polit Bureau to meet today

NEW DELHI: The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) will meet here on December 3 and 4.

The main agenda of the meeting will be a discussion on the draft political resolution for the coming 19th party congress in Coimbatore in April next year, party sources said.

The draft political resolution will be presented before the 83-member Central Committee, which will meet here for three days from December 20. The Central Committee will also look at the organisational aspects of preparations for the congress.

The Polit Bureau will also discuss the political situation in the country.
