Meet on climate change

CHENNAI: A Forest Department officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre A. Ramachandran has been selected to attend a climate change conference in Indonesia as part of the four-member Indian delegation.

The 13th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will begin its deliberations on Monday.

The conference, which will be attended by 183 nations, will discuss various policy and scientific matters in the fight against global warming and the need for adaptation.
