Group clash: two hurt

Two persons were injured in a clash between two groups belonging to different communities near Karuppayoorani on Sunday evening. The injured have been admitted to the GRH. The police said that the clash erupted over a petty quarrel between people belonging to Andarkottaram and Karuppapillaiyendal. Police have been deployed in both the villages to prevent untoward incident. — Staff Reporter
