D-Link opens new R & D centre

BANGALORE: D-Link India, the networking company, inaugurated on Saturday its new R & D Centre at Electronic City, Bangalore. Prof. N. Balakrishnan, Associate Director, Indian Institute of Science, K. R. Naik, D. Link’s Executive Chairman and Managing Director, Jangoo Dalal, were present. The new centre is can seat more than 500 employees. It will drive D-Link’s research initiatives in India, focusing on converged IP solutions, business routers and gateways and wireless technology products for the Indian and Global markets, Mr. Naik told reporters. — Special Correspondent
