Coimbatore: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Coimbatore has announced commissioning of more Broadband DSLAMS in Coimbatore secondary switching area. Hitherto, BSNL was facing capacity constraints in terms of broadband connections resulting in applications for new connections being put on waiting list. With the BSNL having completed its work for installation of additional capacity in exchanges that faced the worst constraint, waitlisted customers are expected to be provided broadband connection progressively. Broadband capacity had been augmented in capacity at Bharatiyar University, Saravanampatti, Ukkadam, Kurichi, Thudialur, Periyanaickenpalayam, Sai Baba Colony, R.S. Puram, Kuniamuthur, Kovaipudur Peelamedu, Ramanathapuram, Peelamedu Airport, Alandurai, Bharathi Colony, Central AXE, Chettipalayam, Chinnathadagam, Chinniampalayam, Ganapathy, Gandhimanagar, Gandhipark, Malumichampatti, NRK Puram, Narashimanaickenpalayam, Podanur, Race Course, Ram Nagar, Sarcar Samakulam, Sanganur, TVS Nagar, Tatabad I and II and Thondamuthur exchanges. Waitlisted customers would be provided broadband connection progressively in a phased manner.
