1 lakh jobs under Rajiv Udyog Sri: Minister

MAHABUBNAGAR: As many as 10,000 jobs would be provided in the district and about 1 lakh jobs in the State under Rajiv Udyog Sri scheme this year, according to Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy.
Addressing the valedictory of second batch skill development training programme for children at Zilla Parishad meeting hall here on Monday, he said that about two lakh child labourers were there in the district in the year 2001. Due to steps taken by the Government and implementation of schemes and policies, the child labour as comedown to 15,000 only he claimedCollector V. Usharani project director NCLP Balakondaiah Municipal Chairman Obedullah Kotwal NCLP member Benhar CEO ZP Pothana project director DRDA Narshimha Reddy were present.
