3 injured in grenade attack

Guwahati: Three persons, including a three-year-old boy, were injured in a grenade attack at a market place in Kathaitoli under the Kamrup Police Station of central Assam’s Nagaon district on Sunday night.

Police said two youths on a motorbike lobbed a grenade inside Lakhi Bastralaya, a garment shop in the market, around 5.55 p.m. The shop-owner, his three-year old son and a shopper, suffered injuries.
