CHAPRA: Angry villagers have beaten a miscreant to death for extortion at Bihar’s in Saran district, police said on Tuesday. Villagers of Pakri Dig village in Amnaur got angry when Bihari Singh (50) tried to extort money from them last night allegedly threatened to kill one of them if his demands were not met. They overpowered Singh and thrashed him with sticks. He died on the spot.
