‘Doors open for talks with medicos’

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has expressed willingness to hold discussions with the junior doctors for finding an amicable solution.

Appealing to them to resume their duties, the Chief Minister wanted them not to let poor patients suffer because of their absence from the duties. "Being one from your fraternity, I understand the problems. Let us discuss and find a solution to the problem," he said. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Dr. Reddy said the Government understood the seriousness of the situation and steps had already been initiated to take action against those involved in the physical assault on medicos.
