SCR Mazdoor union gets 41,474 votes in secret ballot
HYDERABAD: The Hind Mazdoor Sabha-affiliated South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) secured 41,474 votes in the secret ballot held on November 27 and 28 for recognition.
The SCR Employees’ Sangh, owing its allegiance to the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) got 29,641 ballots. Both become eligible for recognition having secured 30 per cent of the voteswhich is subject to the outcome of the writ petition filed by the Rail Mazdooor Union in the Lucknow bench of UP High Court. The votes polled by other organisations are: Dakshina Madhya Railway Karmik Sangh 5,111 and Rail Mazdoor Union 1,709 votes.
