MADURAI: A two-day seminar on ‘psycho and neuro dysfunctions’ was organised for nursing college students at Madurai Institute of Social Sciences on Friday and Saturday. The seminar was aimed at imparting fundamentals of psycho and neuro dysfunctions, helping students in identifying and screening persons with such dysfunctions and equipping the students to deal them effectively. The seminar had sessions on various topics. P. Amutha Rajeswari, Additional Professor, Department of Paediatrics, Government Rajaji Hospital, R. Ravi Kumar, Principal, Bethshan Special School, R. Dheep, V. Neethiarasu, Y. Issac and J. Divya delivered guest lectures. As many as 100 participants from CSI Jeyaraj Annapackiam College of Nursing, CSI School of Nursing, Mother Teresa Centre and SBT College of Special Education from Madurai and Matha College of Nursing from Manamadurai participated. Bethshan Special School organised the seminar.
