FPS dealer’s commission to be hiked

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday assured a delegation of the A.P. Fair Price Shop Dealers’ Federation that the dealer’s commission would be increased.

The representation stated that the FP dealer’s commission had not been increased during the last 11 years and that it ranged from Rs.40 to Rs.50 a quintal in other States. The amount in Andhra Pradesh was only Rs.17, of which transport accounted for Rs.12. In effect each dealer was getting only Rs.5 a quintal.
