Probe ordered into fire in train

HYDERABAD: A day after the mysterious fire in Narayanadri Express that left a teenaged woman dead, the South Central Railway authorities ordered a ‘joint’ inquiry into the incident on Tuesday.

The inquiry would be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday in the conference hall of Secunderabad Railway Divisional Manager on the second floor of Sanchalan Bhavan, opposite Rail Nilayam, according to a press release.

The chief rolling stock engineer, the chief electrical service engineer, the chief safety officer and the deputy chief security commissioner will hold the inquiry.

Plea to public

The railway officials appealed to people to depose evidence if they know any information about the fire incident at the above place on Friday.
