Joy ride for HIV positive children

PUDUCHERRY: This Friday, a group of 18 HIV-infected children from Shanthi Bhavan in Kalapet will have the opportunity to fly in an aircraft. According to a press release here, the Y’s Men’s Club of Puducherry (sponsored by the Y’s Men’s Club of Mylapore) in association with Orient Flight School would be conducting the AIDS awareness programme.

Minister for Education and Information Technology M.O.H.F. Shahjahan will be the chief guest at the event, which is scheduled to take place on the premises of Orient Flight School at the Civil Aerodrome, Lawspet, the release added.
